Evening sun lights the parish church of St. Eadburgha. The original parish church of Broadway actually lies almost a mile outside of the village. Nevertheless, the Church of St Eadburgha has been a Christian place of worship since the 12th century and continues to be a significant aspect of village life. The dedication of a Christian church to Eadburgha is not common. Eadburgha was the grand-daughter of Alfred the Great. The story is told that as a child Eadburgha was asked to choose between receiving jewels or her own Bible, she chose the Bible.
I have not added any new work in over two years due to an automobile accident on 12/31/16. I am still recovering from my injuries and have not picked up my camera for the entire two years. I truly hope that my recovery is complete in the near future. Travel and photography allows me to share the beauty of the world God has created. We have so much to be thankful for and just looking around us gives us a reason to praise God for his beauty. Also, I look at photography as a means of helping others with their future.
