A traditional Dutch windmill waits for a spring wind to begin work. A windmill is a machine that converts the energy of wind into rotational energy by means of vanes called sails or blades. However, the Dutch windmill has been primarily used to pump out ocean water to create needed land for an ever increasing population.

I have not added any new work in over two years due to an automobile accident on 12/31/16. I am still recovering from my injuries and have not picked up my camera for the entire two years. I truly hope that my recovery is complete in the near future. Travel and photography allows me to share the beauty of the world God has created.
